Blanket
"Blanket" is a look into a simple yet quite universal object, meant to offer comfort and warmth in the most vulnerable moment - during sleep. A project started from a story, where a close friend told me about their complicated childhood. That there were
days, where he slept underneath the mattress because there were no blankets to be found.
Influenced by the story, I started to go to online anonymous chats and ask strangers: "If you ever had to sleep without a blanket, what have you used instead of the blanket as a substitute?" Answers varied from one end to another, for some, it was just a joke, and some gave elaborate background stories to their answer. One’s answer becomes a suggestion of an individual's situation, an illustrative symbol of one's circumstance, without a specific time, location and human being.

I use it a lot, especially in the field of military, quicker and easier than a blanket to get mobile.
